Strategy and Policy Development
Strategies need to be based on effective Service Reviews and demonstrate how your services can contribute to meeting the overall housing needs, aims and aspirations of your local authority area. It is vital that the public, your stakeholders and key partner agencies play a part in this process, informing the development of any new strategies. Trish has carried out many Service Reviews and is available to discuss your requirements. It is vital when considering ever changing Government Housing Policy in relation to Welfare Reform, the Homelessness Reduction Act, Supported Housing and others to consider the impact on customers and front line services and plan ahead.

She worked in partnership with a range of key stakeholders including service users, facilitating a teamwork approach to the review. Rutland contracts out its homelessness, housing options and advice services so engagement with a wide range of service providers was essential. Trish takes a practical approach, delivering milestones to target in a co-operative and flexible way. The final report was eminently readable and positively received by Members.
